The Feed was co-developed by a researcher and high-school teacher to help players understand how content spreads across social media platforms. In just 30 minutes, players act as different social media actors (influencers, content farms, trolls, conspiracy theorists) and use tactics and strategy to manipulate their opponents to build a following. The Feed doesn't tell them what to do, but shows them.

This information literacy game transforms complex concepts about viral content, algorithmic amplification, and online influence into a gameplay experience that sparks critical conversations about our actions online and the forces shaping our interconnected world.
